Review the vowel teams ay, ai, ee, and ea.
Read a story titled, The Big Mix-Up, by Nicole Walker. While reading, we will recognize plurals and contractions. We will also make personal connections to the text, and infer the characters' feelings.
Write a response to reading, retelling the important events from the story, The Big Mix-Up.
Read a poem titled, Snowball, by Shel Silverstein. We will use clues to infer the meaning of the poem. We will also locate compound words and words with vowel teams.
Participate in Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Lessons.

Solve for the unknown in an addition equation involving 3 whole numbers (2 addends and a sum)
